SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — January 23, 2018 — In response to continued demand for their professional services, Scalar, a leading independent valuation firm, plans to expand operations in 2018. The expansion will be executed through a series of initiatives aimed to facilitate advanced customer service and long-term growth.
These initiatives include doubling the size of the certified valuation team, expanding the headquarters office in Salt Lake City, establishing a marketing department, and opening a new location in Los Angeles.
Since its founding in 2009, Scalar has seen 20 percent consistent growth year over year and leadership believes Scalar is well-positioned for a more aggressive expansion in 2018.
“These initiatives we’re planning for the coming year will help us provide the best possible experience for our clients,” Zak Nugent, Scalar’s Chief Executive Officer, said of the expansion. “Scalar will continue to scale aggressively in order to better serve our clients and to enable plans for further growth.”
Scalar has already initiated the increase in personnel, hiring a new Principal, Director of Business Development, Marketing Manager, Business Development Analyst, as well as doubling the number of Consultants on the valuation team. Additional hires are currently in progress and still more will continue throughout the year.

Discussions are in progress regarding the expansion of the Salt Lake City office and the opening of the Los Angeles office. Further news regarding these developments will be released as details are finalized.
